About the Role
The role of Finance Manager is pivotal in the Financial Management and Administration.
You will be supporting and reporting into the Director on day-to-day company management and lead the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for weekly cash flow management and monthly cash flow forecasting.
- Review and analyse all credit claims/back charges to minimise write-offs.
- Responsible for monthly accounting cycle, from management of data processing to reconciliations and general ledger functions.
- Preparation and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant management information.
- Maintain and improve the fixed assets registers.
- Responsible for management of the Accounts/Contract Admin functions.
- Quarterly preparation and lodgement of BAS.
- Review and authorise applications for the new suppliers based on criteria as per the company’s IMS requirements.
- Annually review all insurance policies and identify additional risk areas of the business that can be minimised.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field required with a supporting CPA/CA qualification.
- Proven leadership skills with the capability to mentor and develop a finance team.
- Previous experience within Construction and or Manufacturing will be highly advantageous.
