Your Purpose:
As the Director of Finance, you will lead Care 24-7’s financial management and performance. You’ll bring strategic leadership combined with hands-on expertise in managing financial operations. This role involves driving commercial success through effective budgeting, financial reporting, and performance management while improving financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and implement financial systems/processes to enhance efficiency, accountability, and performance.
- Deliver regular financial reports (budget, YoY, KPIs) and analyse financial data for improvement opportunities.
- Manage daily revenue, expenses, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow.
- Minimise bad debt and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and oversee annual budgets and capital expenditure management.
- Collaborate with practice managers to educate and support them in achieving financial KPIs.
- Provide financial advice to the CEO on commercial opportunities and growth strategies.
- Support business development, treasury management, and strategic initiatives with the CEO and Executive Management Committee.
About You:
- Proven expertise in financial analysis, commercial acumen, and financial management.
- Extensive experience with large accounting software (preferably Xero) and financial reporting models.
- Strong skills in budget preparation, financial legislation, and risk management in healthcare.
- Ability to present financial insights clearly to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with non-financial stakeholders to enhance performance.
- Excellent attention to detail, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience in healthcare financial management.
