Following the recent successful launch of ‘iff’ (Informed Financial Future), Opex Consulting is continuing to press ahead with its ambition to expand both locally and abroad. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Technical Lead will firstly be responsible for building out and leading the current development team, with staff members being based both local and remote. 

In addition to this, some of the key expectations of this role include:

• Architecting and managing AWS-hosted infrastructure
• Development of their .Net application with Angular front-end
• Development of custom .Net integrations
• Database design, development and optimisation    
• Development using AWS Lambda and other AWS services
• Leading and mentoring other developers
• Guiding business analysis and design of new features
• Stakeholder engagement

The ideal candidate brings to the table an extensive technical background and leadership experience. As the business continues to grow, future prospects internally will trend the same way, with this role seen to be on the pathway to a CTO position.

To compliment this, it will be highly favourable if you had:

• Experience leading a team
• Experience with the Agile methodology 
• Experience with AWS services
• Microservice Architecture
• C# .NET, MySQL, and MongoDB
• JavaScript and jQuery with Angular (or other) front-end experience
• Working with and development of APIs
• Effective communication and documentation skills
