As the Senior System Engineer, you support the pioneering of technical implementation and client engagement within the business. You will be partnering closely with clients to advise on their current technical roadmap and implementing solutions and modernisations across various areas of IT Infrastructure including security, storage, hardware, networks, and servers.

Key Responsibilities:

-        Investigating and implementing suitable technologies that align with requirements and providing consultation to clients regarding ongoing support or improvements. Working closely with sales staff to provide technical insight and advice.

-        Overseeing, coordinating, and collaborating on clients IT projects across Application Development, Digital Integration, Migration and Transformation, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security and Disaster Recovery solutions.

-        Managing client relationships to ensure that there is a continuous high level of service satisfaction. Ensuring there is appropriate communication with clients throughout projects, new implementations, and all other areas of customer needs.

-        Maintaining the ownership of escalated technical issues from service desk or field engineers, ensuring the resolution of these tickets are adhered to adequately and clients’ expectations are met.

-        Solving complex technical issues across network and system infrastructure, computer hardware and software, cloud and security.

-        Maintaining and continuously evolving technical knowledge to assist in troubleshooting, technical support and to further support clients on their technical journey.

-        Adhering to internal policies and methodologies to ensure the correct documentation and administration is completed appropriately and HR & Safety procedures are met.



To be successful in this role you will possess the following:  

-        Demonstrated ability in providing level 3 technical support across Azure, Windows Server environments, Virtualisation and Networks.

-        Ability to implement and manage Microsoft 365 environments, Purview, Entra, Autopilot, InTune, Defender, Teams and SharePoint.

-        Ability to understand our client's needs, and problem solve to find innovative and tailored solutions.  

-        Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

-        Ability to work independently, also within a cohesive team, to ensure the meeting of deadlines, BAU completion and other priorities.

-        Mentor and support all members of the Rachis team.
