About the Role

As the Cloud Automation Engineer, using DevOps, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and delivery of a range of cloud application developments and program administration. Possessing experience in both IT operations and software development, this will be applied to focus specifically on cloud automation and integration.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Key focus on Power Platform and SharePoint development and support.
  • Coordinate and undertake a range of complex cloud applications and programs to focus on internal cloud automation and integration.
  • Optimise and manage the core cloud environment at TAFE, including implementing developed processes, whilst installing best practice and advising related policies
  • Coordinate, undertake and deliver on internal cloud related projects, research and analysis. This includes collating relevant information and data for reports and project recommendations.
  • Providing advice, participating within the development of project and operational strategy, as well as promoting internal cloud directives
  • Research and undertake the implementation of DevOps and CI/CD practices, IaC, test automation and cloud services and ensuring this is related to the internal needs of TAFE SA

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:  

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver various complex cloud application management and development projects, related to cloud automation and integration within an enterprise environment.
  • Significant knowledge and experience across Office 365 environments including SharePoint Online, Power Apps/Dynamics CRM environments, Teams.
  • Experience in hybrid-cloud environments and technologies including Azure technologies, integration, infrastructure, security services and architecture.
  • Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JSON, xml and YAML and other tools such as DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, IaC and automated testing
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle, how this interacts with cloud applications and other provisioning models.
