The Opportunity: 

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for all financial reporting, transactional accounting, and financial compliance for this iconic Australian business. 


You will be responsible for preparation of detailed reporting and analysis to both internal & external stakeholders of the business including monthly, quarterly and year-end profit & loss reporting. The position will require you to interact extensively with internal teams so you will be a person that enjoys interacting with your colleagues, communicates well and can represent a high-quality global product. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial environment with the ability to drive process improvement, manage financial models and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities, not limited to: 


  • Manage external audit & statutory reporting

  • Manage month-end close and reporting

  • Manage the short-and long-term 3-way financial model

  • Manage short-and long-term cash flow forecasting

  • Coordinate and manage the budgeting process

  • Coordinate and manage the tax compliance process

  • Establishing and manage risk management frameworks

  • Coordinate and manage the re-insurance process

  • Coach a small team of finance staff

Not essential, but it would be fantastic if you had:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

  • CPA/CA qualification

  • Commercial business acumen with strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and provide meaningful insights on financial reports with strong attention to detail

  • A professional, motivated and solution-focused individual with a drive for results
