EGM is partnering with ARTC to recruit a finance manager to lead the finance team in the effective management of their Hunter Valley finances, focussing on meeting accounting requirements within the Customer centric commercial context, and increasing value.

You will provide strategic financial support working directly with Group Executive (GE) Hunter Valley and by partnering with the asset related General Managers, Corporate Finance Leaders and service Commercial requirements of the General Manager Customer Service and Operations team. The role is responsible for consistently, sustainably managing and controlling the costs and inputs to the Hunter Valley’s Customer pricing and various regulatory models.

 

Key Duties:

  • Monthly/quarterly Customer and management reporting, variance analysis and commentary,

  • Contributing to the ARTC Board Reporting through provision of regular accruals forecasts and commentary including quarterly combined financial and commercial reporting in partnership with the HV Commercial team.

  • Independent review of areas of major expenditure and variances to budget and advice to respective leaders on controls;

  • Regular pricing cost inputs/ internal budgets Reconciliation preparation and review in close collaboration with the Financial Services functions

  • Lead the development of the budget and 5 year supporting financial plan process for the Business Unit

 including the establishment of timetables, templates, commentary and the documentation of assumptions and key drivers.

  • Participation in monthly meetings with the Financial Services team.

About You:

  • A proven finance leader with experience in a large scale commercial environment
  • Extensive experience in management accounting, budget, forecast and cost functions of a commercial organisation
  • Sound knowledge of and experience with complex financial information systems
  • A people-centric leader who is fluent and comfortable with communication and influencing
  • Have demonstrated experience of growing a cost imperative stimulus alongside customer needs.
