YourPlace Housing is a tier 2 community housing provider that provides accommodation to South Australians living with a range of disabilities. They do this by managing a housing portfolio that includes social and affordable properties. With exciting changes under an energetic CEO, they are looking for a senior manager to lead and manage the corporate services team.

About the Position

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with a high-profile Board, this is a key leadership role that will share in and lead the achievement of YourPlace Housing's strategic and operational goals.

As part of the senior management team, the Senior Manager, Corporate Services provides overall management of the delivery of effective corporate services and has responsibility for the planning, implementation and management of finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, investments and accounting. This position also leads and manages a small team which provides financial services to the organisation.

In this senior management role you will be responsible for:

  • Manage finance & accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, payroll treasury, budgets, forecasts, cash flow and coordinating the audit
  • Supervise finance, payroll, corporate services and administration employees
  • Lead compliance reporting internally and provide advice to the CEO
  • Coordinate the development and monitoring of strategic and business plans, budgets and annual report
  • Develop and maintain a governance framework including policies and procedures, quality assurance, contract management, risk management, board and management reporting
  • Provide advice to the CEO and provide support to the Finance & Audit Committee and Board as needed

What will ensure Success 

We are looking for an experienced person with the right mix of values and commercial acumen. Ideally you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, economics or business. Be CA or CPA qualified
  • Proven financial management skills with minimum 5 years’ experience 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives to maintain best practice financial policies and processes
  • Proven experience in successfully leading, managing and mentoring a team 
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cooperatively and effectively as part of a team
