The  role we are recruiting is the Head of Housing Operations which sits in the Housing and Homelessness Portfolio at AnglicareSA. AnglicareSA Housing is focused on providing quality housing options for our customers. A house is more than just bricks and mortar – it’s a home, and together with support and the local community. AnglicareSA Housing provides a range of housing across metro Adelaide and regional SA.

The Opportunity:

AnglicareSA is a market leader, operating in the community housing sector. We are seeking a senior manager with a proven track record in driving growth coupled with a passion for engaging people and obtaining results. This is a key leadership role in SA which requires a customer-focused approach to the delivery of multiple complex housing programs.

Key Duties:

  • Lead the strategic, operational and financial management of the housing division

  • Instill a culture of uncompromising customer service 

  • Develop and lead a high performing team through empowerment and engagement

  • Ensure delivery of optimum quality services for tenants

  • Have an understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance to understand their impacts on business operations

  • Actively identify and pursue opportunities to engage with the sector 

About You:

You will be values driven with high integrity and have tertiary qualifications or extensive relevant experience. A proven track record in a similar role where you have achieved significant results in a senior leadership position will ensure your success. 

Skills and Expertise:

  • Exceptional leadership ability to foster a high performance work culture and drive cultural change

  • Significant ability in strategic thinking, proactive planning and operational execution

  • Proven track record of managing and delivering agreed business outcomes in a positive and collaborative manner

  • Strategic and business planning skills, with the ability to manage risks

  • Superior skills in the management of contractual relationships including cultivating and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships

  • Proven commercial acumen with strategic financial planning experience and the ability to deliver on KPIs

  • Excellent communication – oral and written – with the ability to deliver high level executive reports on a regular basis
